Madhya Pradesh (Kanha, Pench, Bandhavgarh, Tadoba) is the tiger heartland — highest sighting rates, most operator partners. Ranthambore in Rajasthan is the most accessible tiger destination from Delhi/Mumbai. Kaziranga in Assam covers the one-horned rhino and is the rare elephant-back safari format. Western Ghats (Periyar, Nagarhole, Bandipur) is the south-Indian wildlife circuit.
Best season, best gift timing
Indian wildlife safaris run October to June — most parks close during monsoon (July-September) for breeding season. The peak tiger-sighting window is March-May when water sources concentrate animals. Winter (November-February) is the most comfortable temperature window. Buy vouchers any time of year — 12-month validity covers the next safari season.

No — tigers are wild animals, not zoo exhibits. Sighting rates vary by park, season and zone (3-7 safaris over 2-3 days dramatically improves odds). Forest-lodge stay-and-safari packages with 4-6 safaris have notably higher cumulative sighting rates than single half-day safaris.
